All About Blog Posts

Blog posts are helpful for their readers. Yet, they are also immensely valuable learning tools for their writers. People often say that you will never know a topic better until you've had to teach it (or until you've written a blog post about it). As with many things, it can be difficult to get started though. This talk will cover the whats, hows, and whos of writing a blog post.

About Naomi

Naomi is a Software Engineer in the financial industry. She has previously worked at Google, Microsoft, and Palantir. In her free time she organises events such as the magical OxfordHack, jacobsHack!, and World Humanitarian Summit's Hack4Humanity. She also loves writing blogposts!

Victoria Bate

6 months ago Victoria was running her own award winning bakery and coffee shop. She loved what she did but didn't want to get up at 3am for the rest of her life! Victoria has spent the last 16 weeks on the School of Code Bootcamp in Birmingham learning to be a full stack javascript developer. She thoroughly enjoyed it and is excited about her future in tech.
