- To help us better understand our community

Where personally identifiable data has not been used in the provision of our services for a period of five years or more, this data will be anonymised or destroyed.

Photography and Videography
At some of our events we will commission a photographer or videographer to document the event. The photos and video footage they collect is owned by Tech Nottingham, and is used for marketing and information purposes.
We may use these photos and video footage on our website, at our events and we may provide this to 3rd parties, such as media organisations, in pursuit of our mission to make Nottingham a better place to live and work in technology.
This might include, for example, imagery of an event used in a news article promoting Nottingham as a place to do business in technology.
At any event where we have commissioned a photographer or videographer to document the event, attendees will have opportunity to give or deny consent to being personally identifiable in the images and videos we publish before entering the event. Attendees decisions in this matter will not affect their access to the event. Attendees may change their consent at any time by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, providing a photograph of their face, and asking to not be included in imagery or video we publish.
